In 2008, while attending an industry event for musicians, Lynmarie was inspired to write a poem. In her own words, this is how the spirit moved her...

"I live in Long Beach, California. I'm a professional dancer, vocalist and drummer. I never thought I would add poet to the list. Well. I am related to William Inge, the playwright.

When I was in California at the NAMM Show  for musicians, I heard the title "Mother of God" in my head. Once I wrote it down, the words just flowed from my pen. I was amongst musicians playing instruments and I was making melodies with my words. I thank the dear Lord that I heard Him speak to me. He is my ghost writer after all."

Lynmarie's poem was published in the book

This Time Around, page 102, 2013

Mother

of

God

by Lynmarie Inge

Mother of God
Fragrance aroma
Oils that blend
Until the end

Rose, chalice,
Authentic, demure,
Sweet as the flowers,
She draws you near

Beautiful, dainty
Love in her eyes
Soul like a diamond
Up in the sky

Lovely, Our Lady
Delicate and strong
Touched with God's incense
She'll see you belong

Musical lyrics
Song melody
Lilting with my life
With destiny

Mother of God
Strong heart and true
Come dance with me
In the fields of dew
